Caboolture Internet Services was started by Mike and Tich Marsh and their partner Stuart Auld to open up the Starway Caboolture Franchise.  Shortly thereafter the franchisor became Hotkey Internet Services.
Robin Marsh invested his $1000 savings for a 5% stake in the company.

 The primary purpose of CIS, apart from manging Hotkey Caboolture, is to operate as the holding entity for a business operation not related to the Hotkey Franchise - CIS Web Services.

CIS Web Services concentrate on the business sector, with primary focus on the Redcliffe Peninsula and the Caboolture District. CIS offer a range of access and web design and hosting  Internet Solutions .
